Thursday – April 9, 2026 – at sea to Port Victoria day 1
The featured photo of today is a rabbit made for us by Yogi. He left it and an updated address card for us on the bed during his last day as our cabin steward. Yogi told us long ago that if we are passengers on the 2028 World Cruise and he is not working for MSC at the time, we should contact him before we arrive in Bali. He has offered to be our guide to his island when we arrive. We hope the itinerary as currently published does not change and that we are on that voyage – it would be great to see him and meet his family.
Not much in the gallery today – a few photos from the World Cruise game. The object was to kick a soccer ball roughly 20 feet and have the ball pass through a mask with holes having different point values. There are a couple photos of Jan kicking but she wasn’t able to get the ball through the holes. Air was not the victor today. Seems like we haven’t had a win for some time.
The small gallery for today is located here.

May is coming upon us which means you will be coming home. I have enjoyed your pictures and your adventures but will be happy to see you. Happy trails for the rest of your journey. Love all the pictures and the Birthday celebrations
The time has flown by – we will be at our home in 16 days (but very tired that day I believe). Jan is already trying to pick out the t-shirt she wants to wear the first day she is back at the cancer center. We found that we have a pair of geese nesting in our back yard while we have been away and their nest has at least 6 eggs. Given the 28-35 day incubation time for this type of goose, we may be greeted by little ones when we return! (But as soon as they hatch the parents take them to a protected area.)
