Fruit is good for you – correct? So having fruit brought to your cabin every day should be good for you – as long as you eat it! Today’s featured photo shows the fruit that is accumulating in our cabin. We signed up for a service to bring fresh fruit every day. We could go to the buffet and get fruit and bring it back but having it brought to you is very convenient. Unfortunately, we have been going to the restaurant for breakfast rather than eating fruit in the morning. So…the result is in the photo – lots of apples, oranges, kiwi, plums, pears, peaches and bananas! Kelsey has been helping by taking some to her cabin each night after the shows but Jan and I haven’t been doing our part each day to reduce our supply. We will try to do better!
Only thing out of the ordinary that happened today was I cut my hair out on the balcony. I thought that the wind from our forward motion would blow away the hair as it dropped from my head. WRONG! Since there was a thin film of water on the deck, the hair just stuck to it – didn’t go anywhere. Eventually I’m sure it will blow away (or I’ll help it do so) but I’ll have to remember to check the deck next time I feel I need a trim.
Temperature today was pleasant – high 70’s/low 80’s – just like back home (minus about 80 degrees). There have been clouds in the evenings and there were today so I didn’t have an opportunity to video the sunset.
Today’s World Cruise game was totally arbitrary. If your first name on the cruise card began with the letters M, S or C, you counted. If not – zero for you. Air once again missed winning coming in second place. There are a few videos from the game as well as announcing the next game – most unique Winter gloves. Jan said she knows she has a unique pair – pink/purple. Maybe hers will be enough to win the next game.
There are several photos of our dinner selections. Kelsey is trying many types of risotto and got one tonight she liked (even though it had the word “beer” in the description). The dessert I had was very good – banana mousse with dark chocolate.
Following dinner we went to a magic show performed by Paolo Giua. For one of his effects he chose a young boy from the audience to help with a trick – making coins fall into a metal can. For some reason near the end of the effect the boy became upset and wanted to go back to his parents. Paolo finished his audience participation with a little older boy. He asked for the boy’s shoe, destroyed it, made it disappear and at the end made it appear when a balloon was popped. His card tricks and work with an assistant were good magic – I don’t know now he did the tricks.
That’s it for Monday. Tomorrow we visit (in transit) the site of Mutiny on the Bounty.

Magic amazing. Yes, you were quite shaggy. Still frigid here.
The magician was good. I watched all the videos. Thanks for sharing.
Fruit is good for you!! Eat that fruit. The dessert I must say looks better though 😂
