Today’s World Cruise game was to name all the MSC cruise ships in order of commissioning. Are you kidding? I looked on the website. There are either 24 or 26 ships and I’d need to do another search to find out when each was put in service. Well, each team was given 20 minutes to submit a list. Earth submitted their list in less than 20 minutes and they had all the ships in the correct order. We were not allowed to use smart devices to aid us so my question is…Why would someone commit to memory the names of the MSC cruise line and the dates they were placed in service? Since World Cruise game was our first activity today I’ll let you know that the next game appears to be whether you come from a certain city. We had one like this at the beginning where they wanted to know how many people were at that game by country. Perhaps that is what they will do for this next game. We’ll let you know.
Today I recorded and included in the media the summary the captain gives us each day we are at sea. He provides local weather and sea information, distance traveled from our last port and from Genoa and the distance remaining to our next port and to Genoa. At the end he says something like “My little ship” or “My pretty ship”. If any of you can figure out what he says, let us know. Following his presentation in English he also provides the information in Italian and then translators provide the same information in French, German, Spanish and Chinese (there may be other languages as well but I don’t keep track).
We didn’t do anything in the afternoon so dinner was next stop. The theme was Hawaiian Night so Subagia and all the other waiters were wearing leis. I’ve included some of the items from the menu. The fried dessert Jan had looked like part of a donut and I probably wouldn’t order it.
The evening’s entertainment was from a combination of the singers in the stage production group and classical music group. Only accompaniment was from a piano – and the pianist was very good. Some songs in English but lots not.
Tomorrow we arrive in Auckland. It will be nice to get out and do things!

My vote is for My little ship.
Listen again when I put up media for March 7. I had a chance to record him when in our cabin without distractions.
I heard my little bitty ship.
I’ve recorded him again and was able to listen in our cabin without external noise. I sounds like “My pretty little ship” but who knows. You’ll hear the new recording with the media posted for March 7th. Thanks for your input.
Yeah I agree who could do that. Maybe they were ones who have been on previous cruises and knew this was coming. I forgot to mention time change was forgotten at my house. I as going to church and noticed I had already missed mass. Oh well I will go to IC at 5:30 I guess 🤣
