I finally figured out how to add labels to the phots so I don’t need to reference video and photo numbers in the text of each post. Let me know how that works for you using today as an example. Click here to view the video and photos.
Today’s featured photo is from a musical presentation during the afternoon. Mozart was the source for all the pieces that were performed. This is the first of a series of classical shows. Don’t know how many there will be or the composers that will be presented.
Today started with a nice but not spectacular sunrise. I included a screenshot of the temperature to help keep all those back at home a bit warmer. Included in the photo gallery are several of the musicians and the pieces they performed.
We had different entres for dinner so I included a photo of each. We all had the chocolate cake with apricot jam but Jan took hers to go.
The sky was clear and the moon was bright. I took the opportunity to snap a couple shots of the moon, Mars and stars from our balcony and a closer view of the moon and Mars.
For this evenings entertainment we watched a magician who never spoke – he communicated with gestures but everyone knew what he meant. He was quite entertaining. One trick that surprised me involved a helper from the audience pulling a cord that appeared to come from the magicians mouth. The volunteer walked from the stage to the back of the theatre before the cord stopped coming out of the mouth. Don’t know how he did that.
Tomorrow we reach Mindelo, Cape Verde. Don’t know anything about it and am anxious to learn its history.
