Saturday – April 11, 2026 – at sea to Port Victoria day 3
It doesn’t happen often, but Air does win a World Cruise game from time to time. Today is one of those days and the featured photo is of Pia posting that information on the World Cruise games scoreboard.
Based on our direction we were able to see a sunrise today. I didn’t think to set up the camera to take a time-lapse, but did have a chance to see a bit of the sun’s action before we left for breakfast.
Days at sea don’t always have lots of exciting things (or things I think about photographing) so today’s gallery contains only a couple. The first of those was today’s World Cruise game. The game involved 2 people carrying an empty pop-top can on a straw held between their teeth. One person put the straw in their mouth and slid it through the pop top, then the other person grabbed the free end with their teeth. Next, both walked across the deck and let loose the straw to deposit the can in a gallon container. The team with the largest number of cans in the gallon container – which was us – Air.
Kelsey and Jan attended the evening show in the theater – The Merry Widow. I haven’t felt the urge to see any of the opera presentations this year and try to use that time to prepare media for this website. There are a couple photos from the show in today’s gallery.
Something I do like to watch are the performances that involve Cristian. Tonight he played in the atrium songs from The Beatles. There is a still and a short video from that performance. He is really good on the guitar!
3 more days at sea and we will return to the Seychelles. This time we hope to spend a bit more time in Port Victoria.
You’ll find today’s gallery here.
