The day began with a surprise when we pulled back the curtains covering our balcony door – a double rainbow! You’ll find several photos of this unexpected event. It was very pretty over the ocean.
Jan and I had breakfast in the restaurant and learned the contents of the juice we have been drinking – ACE. It has 10 carrots, 1 lemon and 2 oranges. It is a popular European drink as it provides vitamins A, C and E. Hence the name. There is a photo of the juice so you can see its color. You can sweeten it by adding more carrots.
Today’s World Cruise game was “Equilibrium”. 5 ropes were attached to a piece of heavy cardboard. A 12 ounce can (350 ml) was placed on the cardboard then 5 people lifted it and carried it across the room to a 5 gallon container. If the can was deposited in the 5 gallon container, the team scored a point. There are several videos of the intro to the game and players attempting to move the cans. As has been the case recently, Air scored last with only 3 points. I think either Earth or Water won with 11 points.
After the game we went to lunch in the restaurant and were seated with a couple from Florida – his 3rd world cruise – her 2nd. He is 87, she is 85. They told us they have booked for the 2026 World Cruise and described the itinerary. We hadn’t even heard about this one. It sounded like it would be fun starting from Italy, crossing the Atlantic stopping at several spots in the Caribbean, transiting the Panama Canal, traveling up the West coast of Central America and stopping in San Diego and San Francisco before turning West to Hawaii. From there it goes to Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Oman, Aqaba, Suez Canal, Greece, Rome and ending where it started in Genoa, Italy. Total of 119 days and 118 nights. Jan stopped at the Future Cruises desk to ask for more information. I included a couple photos of lunch selections.
Didn’t have anything planned for the afternoon and Kelsey hadn’t been feeling up to par so no butt kicking card playing today.
Had some interesting dinner items – attached photos of some of them. Jan and I both had the breaded kate as an entree and passion fruit mousse. Both were very good. I don’t remember there being any beef on the menu this evening. Sorry Sharon.
The show this evening was a singer named Roberto Sinagoga. He had a 6 piece band providing the live backup for him. Apparently he is widely recognized in Europe – I had not heard of him. His voice was good but the sound level was too loud. You may be able to tell as you listen to the videos. Most of what he sang was in foreign languages so my enjoyment level was about a 5 (out of 10). The light shows with his selections were interesting.
Sunsets are later and later. We change our clocks tonight by moving them back 1 hour (so we will be 2 hours ahead of home). I included a still and a time-lapse of the sunset.
Tomorrow we continue our voyage to Hanga Roa and (hopefully) get some good news about World Cruise 2026.

do you eat the seeds in Passion fruit Mousse??
Both Jan and I ate the seeds. They were crunchy and the passion fruit was very tasty.
The salad looked delicious. After watching the time lapse video of the sunset I have a question, how fast is the ship moving MPH? Rainbow and sunset were lovely.
What a nice surprise a double rainbow to wake up to. Salad does look good and of course the dessert as well. And the passion fruit mousse. The ACE drink so nutritious of you guys! I’m
