Friday – March 13, 2026 – at sea to Manila day 4
Today’s featured photo is of the World Cruise game of the day. The object was to remove macaroni from a cup filled with rice using chopsticks. All 4 teams were pitted against each other, and the winner of each heat was given a point. At the end of the contest the team with the most points was the winner for the day. Air was not the winner today, but we stand a better chance tomorrow when the game is “shampoo”.
Not much happened today. Water was fairly calm and there wasn’t any rain to speak of. We are still sailing within the tropics, so the temperature and humidity were both high. We crossed the equator around midnight so we are back in the Northern hemisphere and will be for some time.
Didn’t see much in the way of merchant or pleasure craft. There were a couple bulk carriers that we passed – there is a photo of one in today’s gallery. Did pass lots of islands – as you could see if you take a look at the area on a map.
Late this evening there was another equator crossing party on deck 13 followed by a buffet. Kelsey snagged one of the LED multi-lights that people were given as they arrived for the festivities.
