Thursday – January 22, 2026 – cruise day 18
Not much to write about today. The featured photo shows the water that leaked from our shower after the carpenters made repairs yesterday. Not really much and certainly very much less than we observed after our first showers. We consider the matter closed. However, we are asked each day by Guest Services if it is complete. I’m going to tell them we no longer have a problem.
Today’s World Cruise game was modified shuffleboard. The team leaders masked a block of squares on the port side of the pool deck and put the symbols of the 4 teams in the 16 squares. the object of the game is to slide the shuffleboard discs from the starboard side of the pool deck onto the squares without the disc covering the lines of the squares. If you land on a symbol for your team, you get 5 points. If you land on another team’s symbol, that team gets 1 point. You have 5 minutes to slide as many discs as you can onto the squares. Air didn’t win but we also didn’t come in last. Fire won this contest.
Tonight’s entertainment was a production of classical music from operas. Didn’t take any photos because Jan and I didn’t attend.
