Today was the last of the World Cruise games. It was shuffleboard on deck 13 by the main pool. A rectangle with 16 rectangles inside it had labels on each smaller piece showing the 4 teams in the World Cruise games – Air, Earth, Fire and Water. From across the deck we pushed discs like shuffleboard trying to land on our logo. If the disc landed inside our logo (not on the edges) we got 2 points. If the disc landed on another teams logo, we got -2 points. At the end of this game the scores were Air = 0, Water = -2, Earth = -4 and Fire = -8. We haven’t been doing well for the last half of the games so it was nice to be the winner of the final game. Today’s featured image is a photo of Air members and one of the leaders (Federica). When the photo was taken most of the team members had left for lunch.
Prior to World Cruise games we had a short meeting in the theatre with the shore excursion staff to express their appreciation to us. They played a short video showing them involved with some of the nearly 400 excursions people have taken so far. It was nice to see all 16 of the staff together and think about how many of them we have traveled with these last 4 months.

The entertainment this evening was a man taking the place of Paul McCartney (even played bass guitar left handed) with a band singing Beatles songs. They were good but there just isn’t anything like the originals. You’ll find several videos with songs I’m sure you will recognize.
Tonight we are passing through the Strait of Gibraltar around 01:30. We also set our clocks ahead an hour overnight. I’m going to try and set up a time lapse for this transit but a not sure if the time given use is before or after the time change. We’ll see what happens when I view the video tomorrow.
