Have you even looked for Waldo in scenes where it is difficult to find that character among all the images? Well, this World Cruise game was just as hard. Coupled with the fact that people were crowded around a table with little light didn’t make it any easier. Today’s featured image is Wally. The challenge was to find him in 10 different pictures. First team to find 10 would be the winner. None of the teams found Wally in the first picture. Some found him in the second and other pictures but there was no team that found him in 10 pictures. Our game is slotted for a 30 minute time period. People were still looking for Wally after 45 minutes so the M.C. made a decision to call the win for whoever had the most sightings by that time. We couldn’t hear who it was because the captain was making his daily status report (or someone was giving one of the six language versions of it). We were able to hear what the next game would be but don’t understand what it means – “Follow the hook.”.
Today’s sunrise video doesn’t show a sunrise but it does show our movement through one of the Chilean fjords and ends with a rainbow on the right side of the screen
Following the video and photos of the World Cruise game I included a photo showing stats for MSC Magnifica. Someone had asked a question about the number of passengers. The stats show the number of cabins – most of which are capable of 3 people. Also shows length, width, etc. to give you an idea of the size of our ship. Despite its size, it still gets buffeted by the waves.
Next in the images are some from our lunch today. Jan was very happy with her choice of frittatas.
Following lunch Kelsey and Jan continued their card game battle with Kelsey winning. I listened to music in the card room using my AirPods.
Dinner this evening included a celebration of our first month at sea completed. Waiters walked through the restaurant singing and carrying signs (couldn’t read them based on the direction whey walked). The first section of the cruise (per MSC) ends at Valparaiso, Chile. We arrive there Sunday. Next leg takes us through the Pacific and a portion of Australia (not sure at which Australian city it ends). Third leg we end in Genoa, Italy.
This evenings entertainment was provided by the classical musicians/singers. Although all the lyrics were in a foreign language, I think you’ll recognize some of the melodies.
Tomorrow we arrive at Puerto Montt and are off for an excursion to a volcano or two (inactive). Should give us some nice views of the area.

Liked the sunrise. Thanks for sharing the ships stats. Are you ready for a good ole greasy cheeseburger?
Do you mean a lean mean fish burger?
No like The Starlites.
Congratulations on your first month celebration!!
Thanks. We like it so much we are exploring the possibility of joining the 2026 World Cruise that will visit many spots in the Caribbean, transit the Panama Canal, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam and other areas in Southeast Asia and cover the middle-East area we missed this trip (Jordan, Egypt).
