Tuesday – May 5, 2026 – at sea to Mindelo day 5
All of the photos in today’s gallery relate to World Cruise games. The featured photo shows the winners from the equivalent of the Oscars. Each team was to create a 5 minute film that encompassed specific items. The films were to have no speaking (because of the many languages of the passengers) but portray the plot visually. Water won for best film but Air did have a win as well – for best performance by a male actor. Best performance by a female actor went to Water, best editing went to Fire and best scene was Earth.
The other photos in the gallery are from the game we played today – which was a repeat of a game previous played. The goal was to put a candy cane in the top of a bottle by sliding it down a string held by 2 team members. There are several photos showing the cane as it traveled the string.
Now only 2 days at sea left until we reach Mindelo and 11 days until we are home.
