Monday – March 2, 2026 – at sea to Sydney day 3
I don’t have a photo that I took for today’s featured image because we were told not to take photos. At dinner time was our second medical emergency that required a helicopter to transport the patient. During the 2025 World Cruise we had medical emergencies, but none of them involved helicopters. We had boats come to meet us and patients were transferred to the boats. Don’t know what the emergency was or if the patient recovered but having to transport via helicopter seems to imply the situation was very serious. We pray whoever it was is OK.
Not much to report today. A couple photos of the World Cruise game. Today the challenge was to (with hands behind your back) inflate a balloon to “grab” a paper cup, carry the balloon and cup across the deck, lean over a table and drop the cup (by deflating the balloon) into a bucket. The judge made the game a bit easier by not requiring the balloon deflate (so you could drop balloon and cup into the bucket) and by allowing use of the hands when leaning over the table. Air came in 3rd. Next game will be to toss a wire hanger so that it “hooks” on a coat rack several feet away. We will play that game after we leave Sydney.
The entertainment tonight was Lisa Crouch – a singer from Australia. I believe this was her second appearance on the MSC Magnifica stage.
