Cruise The World With Us 2026

Only 2

Tuesday – January 20, 2026 – at sea to Cartagena

The featured photo today is the Air team leaders from World Cruise games holding the 2 envelopes found for today’s game. The game was to find envelopes that had been placed on decks 5, 6, 13 and 14. Inside each envelope was a piece of paper with a number – from -20 to +1,500. Once collected by each team, they were opened by the judges and totaled. Air team only found 2 envelopes, and each contained a negative number. Our total was -25. All three of the other teams found considerably more envelopes – like over 20. However, the losing team had quite a few negative numbers, so their total was -65. The winning team had a total over 2,000. Oh well – there is always tomorrow!

The other photos included today were from the theater production titled “Playlist”. The show consisted of songs either with dancers or specialty acts while the songs were being sung. The specialty acts included a pair on roller skates and an acrobat who performed on lengths of material attached to a hook that was lifted toward the ceiling. There are a couple photos showing each act.

Tomorrow, we reach Cartagena, Colombia – a city Jan, Kelsey and I visited during a cruise through the Panama Canal in 1999. I wonder how much it may have changed.
